This Privacy Policy explains how Fiddlers Solutions LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Ideal Allocations ("the Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and authentication provider identifier (Google, Microsoft, email/password, or Intuit).

QuickBooks data. When you connect a QuickBooks Online company, we access chart of accounts, classes, locations, projects, employees, and transactions required to perform allocations. We do not copy this data into long-term storage beyond what is necessary to perform the requested allocation.

Billing information. If you subscribe, Stripe collects and processes your payment information. We store a Stripe customer identifier and subscription metadata but never your card details.

Usage data. We collect basic logs (timestamps, feature usage, error reports) for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate Ideal Allocations
• Authenticate you and secure your account
• Process allocations and post journal entries to QuickBooks at your request
• Bill your subscription and issue invoices
• Respond to support requests
• Detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents

3. Third-Party Sub-Processors

We rely on the following sub-processors to operate the Service:

• Intuit (QuickBooks Online) — accounting data access via OAuth 2.0
• Google / Firebase Authentication — user authentication
• Google Cloud Platform — hosting, Cloud SQL, Secret Manager, Cloud Run
• Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing

Each sub-processor is bound by its own privacy terms.

4. Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support. QuickBooks access tokens are encrypted at rest and deleted when you disconnect a company.

5. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Sensitive tokens (QuickBooks OAuth, API keys) are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Authentication is protected by reCAPTCHA Enterprise.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@idealallocations.com.

7. Children's Privacy

Ideal Allocations is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced through the Service or by email.
